Naturally Healthy Month will be taking place across the whole of Somerset in May, and we are joining in. The programme of events is being co-ordinated by Somerset Wildlife Trust with the support of Somerset County Council, Public Health.
At present there are over 100 events taking place involving over thirty different organisations and covering all five districts of Somerset.
Naturally Healthy Month is about inspiring us all to get outside and enjoy Somerset’s amazing, and incredibly, diverse natural environment. Our aim is to increase people’s confidence and the opportunities they have to be active in the natural environment in order to improve their health and wellbeing. With something for everyone this is the perfect opportunity to Let Nature Nurture.
Join us at our Family Day on Sunday, 20th May to try your hand at some of our outdoor activities and enrichment course taster sessions!
A full list of the events can found by visiting www.slnp.org.uk and clicking on the Naturally Healthy Month tab or follow on Twitter @SWTwellbeing
