How to encourage your child’s uniqueness…
“Every child is a unique child who is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured.”
Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
This is something we’re told very early on in our children’s lives and something that is recognised in Early Years settings across Britain. So why should it be any different when our children go to school, college or even university?
Every child is different, whether it’s their hobbies, interests, approach to learning or subjects they enjoy at school, it’s these things that make them, them.
That’s why here at the Kilve Court and Charterhouse Centres we offer everything from outdoor activities to subject-based fun for children aged 6 to 16. Your child can review aerodynamics whilst constructing a rocket, take on the high ropes to see the importance of teamwork, or soak up the skill of story-writing whilst writing their first novel. Regardless of whether your child is a hands-on learner, has a flair for creativity, tackles tasks methodically, or anything in between, we’ve got it covered.
And don’t just take our word for it!
“The course is really fun, but you learn a lot at the same time.” Megan, 10
“It helped me to understand more and boosted my confidence.” Cerys, 11
We’ve got some exciting enrichment courses coming up for more able children that will run from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th November. These have been created especially for children with an interest in English & Creative Writing, ICT, Science and Art.
Book before the end of October to get £20 off!
None of these take your child’s fancy? We have oodles of other courses on offer.
We look forward to welcoming your child to the Kilve Court and Charterhouse Centres soon.
