A new report published by Plymouth University highlights the benefits of outdoor learning and calls for it to become embedded in the national curriculum.
The report, which featured on the BBC News website last week, reflects:
“Lack of exposure to natural environments denies children the opportunity to develop understandings and experiences that will have a long term impact on the quality of their lives.”
Here at the Kilve Court Residential Education Centres we recognise the importance of outdoor learning and its contribution to a healthy and active mind.
We deliver adventurous outdoor activities and educational enrichment programmes that provide children and young people with opportunities to learn through fun, build friendships and create memories that last a lifetime.
Take a look around our website to find out more about our centres and courses, so that together we can inspire future generations to unlock their potential.
