Safeguarding & Behaviour
All of our staff are DBS checked in line with Somerset County Council’s policy and we follow SSE’s safeguarding protocol. All staff are also offered First Aid training annually.

Purpose for processing – We need your information to allow us to book you on our courses and to keep in contact with you.
Legal basis for processing – Contract – as part of our agreement with you to provide our services
Legitimate Interests – We will also use your information for the purposes of audit, quality control, training and for dealing with enquiries and complaints.
Data Sharing – the personal data provided will be shared with employees of SCC, SORLS, course providers and associated services.
We will only contact you using the details you provide for reasons directly relating to your purchase of services and we will never use your information to contact you for market research purposes
Transfers abroad – this data will not be transferred abroad
Data Retention – this data will be retained for a period of 6-7 years to meet statutory audit requirements.
Your Rights – You have the right to ask Somerset County Council to a copy of your data, the right to rectify or erase your personal data, and the right to object to processing.
